The oldest of my available albums, Time Marches On has 9 ORIGINAL songs that lean towards an American vibe. The title cut of Time Marches On has some of the best lines I believe I've ever written... about how time seems to fly as we get older. The song Six Long Years was written about my grandfather's best friend who lost his wife and then proceeded to use alcohol to hide the pain. I just love the song True Love Shines On. It was written about things my grandfather told me and memories he kept in an old suitcase. The song, But For the Grace Of God was written about a homeless man we had living in our hometown. It was the first song I can remember writing about the homeless and their plight. Many more came as the years progressed but this was the first one. Even though it's one of my oldest recordings, I think you'll love the sentiment of this album.
